Robert Smith is the only living grandson to Ed Smith Sr. and the son to Ed Smith Jr.  He was born August 23, 1926 -- celebrated his 90th birthday this year. He resides in Vicksburg, MS living three doors down from cousin Johnnie Ruth Claiborne. Some family members were fortunate enough to meet Robert.
Needless to say, it was a true heartfelt blessing for each. 

Angela and Kylie not only asked all the curious questions, they also recorded the meeting and took notes while Wandell videotaped the cherishable memories and Lillie captured the classic photos.

Andrew "Bay-Bay", Margaret "Pumpkin" listened intently to the historical conversation.

Dear Family, 

It is with deepest heartfelt sorrow to inform you that our beloved Robert Smith passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016. He was 90 years old. 

Services will be held Saturday, December 3 2016, 11:00am at 
W H Jefferson Funeral Home, Monroe St, Vicksburg MS
