Family traveled from Nebraska, Nevada, California, Virginia, Texas, and of course Mississippi to join in this momentous tour.

This is the well that Henry Tip Smith Sr was thrown into by the KKK.  He was rescued approximately 3-days later after family heard his faint cries.  He was left totally blind; however, he new the land so well, he continued to walk it daily and knew it better than most.

(Years ago this area was heavily covered with trees and wild brush--easier to hid.)
